Explore Our Solutions
At The RARE Place Inc., we do more than serve, we restore, rebuild, and reimagine what’s possible for our people. Rooted in entrepreneurship, construction, development and community healing, our solutions are designed to bring systems back to life, create real pathways to ownership and opportunity, and uplift those too often overlooked. From workforce development to business revival, we meet people where they are and walk with them toward where they’re meant to be.
Entrepreneurship Reimagined
We rebuild entrepreneurs from the ground up — especially those recovering from burnout, failure, or transition. From business coaching to contract readiness, we teach founders how to brand, scale, build capacity, and stay relevant.
Our Annual MWBE Conference hones in on training, collaboration and access for diverse business owners in our region and continues to bring change within our communities.
Workforce Pathways & Construction Navigation
With a unique lens from inside the construction industry, we help people, especially those system-impacted, understand where they fit in development and how to access opportunity. Whether it’s job direction, workforce training, land use education, or getting people ready to subcontract, we bring the insight, access, and relationships that move people from overlooked to hired. We don’t just build projects, we build people.
Systems Overhaul for Small Organizations
The RARE Place embeds within Black- and Brown-led businesses and nonprofits to clean house, from operations and structure to storytelling and strategy. We act as a short-term “intervention team” that re-centers teams around their mission, sharpens their systems, and reconnects them to the community they serve. Then, we amplify their work through strategic marketing and community-centered showcases.
Reentry, Redemption, and Real Opportunity
Through our partnership with Men United Globally and Huffscaping LLC, we support returning citizens, especially Black men, through transitional employment, mentorship, and entrepreneurship. We don’t believe in just second chances, we believe in infinite reroutes and real platforms for men to reclaim their lives and build legacy.
Community Hubs That Heal & Activate
Our headquarters at Kern’s Bowling Center is more than a location it’s a living model of what community-centered redevelopment looks like. We’re transforming this Black-owned anchor space into a home for workforce programming, youth mentoring, social enterprise, and healing. It’s where vision, restoration, and opportunity meet under one roof.
